Real Estate Redux

You can always carry Long Beach Island, NJ in your heart. Now you can carry it on your cell phone as well by using a special app called LBI Views.

LBI Views was designed by Berkshire Hathaway Zach Shore Realtors Logan McKenzie and AnneMarie Aresco (in tandem with Matt Gindele, Gindele Law, Megan Maher, Surety Title, and Bob Faust, First Alliance Mortgage.)
Their app, currently used by 3,500 viewers, provides island wide real estate listings along with a comprehensive guide to Long Beach Island. “Everything from beach houses to beach chairs,” McKenzie said. “We saw a real need for it.”
“Any information that anyone could possibly want,” Aresco said. “Whether they are coming here with their families for the day or for the week. For homeowners or for people looking to buy.”
McKenzie and Aresco said they are the first and only ones on the island to come up with an app of this kind.
“There are other apps for realtors,” McKenzie said. “But instead of just doing it from the traditional real estate side we wanted our app to be different and include information about the whole island. Information about those things people look forward to doing when they want to come down and see this place.”
And as for now, LBI Views is different from other current apps for realtors.
An analysis by Octal Digital, a company that works to develop digital platforms for its clients, recently identified the 15 Best Real Estate Apps for iOS and Android in 2026. Apps on the list include Zillow, Redfin, Trulia and more. Unlike LBI Views, however, not one of those apps includes a comprehensive guide to resources for any of the areas they serve.
“Some of the people who aren’t here on the island still have fond memories of when they were here. A man who lives in Colorado got in touch with us and said his dad had a house here. He said it’s great to be able to use the app to see the island. We learned very early on this app was not just about people looking to purchase real estate.”

“Once you download our app, you’ll see a map with all the real estate listings available on the island,” McKenzie said. “The real estate listings are everything that is available, not just our own listings. We give people the information they need and all the information is automatically updated by the MLS. “
In the corner of the app page is where you’ll find a tab for all Long Beach Island resources.
“With our app on your phone, you’ll have the whole island in your pocket,” McKenzie said. “Everything from restaurants, surf shops, gift shops, where and how to get beach badges, island adventures like the Barnegat Lighthouse, LBI sunset cruises, historic museums, ice cream, candy, bagels, coffee, bakeries, mainland essentials, mini golf, arcades, you name it.”
“We list information about township regulations, trash and recycling information,” Aresco said. “All of the restaurants are listed according to North end or South end locations. For every listing we give name, phone number, website and social media information. If you’re looking for a house great, but if you need a menu for How You Brewing you get that too.”
People, however, are also turning to the app for something else besides real estate listings, local resources and restaurant menus.
“Nostalgia,” said McKenzie. “Not just for the ones who live here. But also, by people who love it here but aren’t.”
“Some of the people who aren’t here on the island still have fond memories of when they were here,” said Aresco. “A man who lives in Colorado got in touch with us and said his dad had a house here. He said it’s great to be able to use the app to see the island. We learned very early on this app was not just about people looking to purchase real estate.”
Both McKenzie and Aresco said a focus on the present will be what determines the future for LBI Views.
“Our app has already surpassed where I thought it was going to go,” McKenzie said. “I just want to continue to give value, spread positivity and put people in a good mood.”

“We just want to continue to provide access to information for everyone,” Aresco said. “We are prepared for competition, but there is plenty of room for everyone.”
Right now, however, both McKenzie and Aresco say they are busy having a good time with their app LBI Views.
“It’s the thing I love to do and the thing that I get to do,” McKenzie said.
“The people who are reaching out to us are like minded,” Aresco said. “They love the island and are happy to be here. We are having a lot of fun.”
